For MIG-MAG welding processes, Reis offers a large range of robots, peripheral equipment and welding accessories. A modular component system allows us to combine proven products into small- and large-size systems that are affordable and reliable.
All modules have been designed to work in conjunction with one another to guarantee high reliability for the life of the product.
C-frames with optional rotation and transfer devices, as well as gantries are available to increase the robot's work envelope. Reis offers freely programmable work piece positioners from 200 to 6,300 kg load capacities that repeatedly position the work piece in the optimum welding position. All additional axes are integrated into the robot controller to ensure true coordinated motion during welding, thus guaranteeing quality welding results and short cycle times.
The high repeatability of the Reis robots, to within ± 0.05 mm, combined with the standard high frequency protection for the robot and peripheral equipment make these robots well suited for TIG welding with/without cold wire feed. These advantages are the reason why Reis was chosen to supply robotic welding systems for most all the renowned boiler manufacturers and restaurant-grade appliance manufacturers in Europe.
By using state-of-the-art sensor technology for finding and following the weld seam, asymmetrical welds can be successfully made by Reis robots. Freely programmable work piece positioners with coordinated motion through the robot controller always position the part in the optimum welding position in relation to the torch. This guarantees consistent, high-quality welding results.
